El Kasri calls out Vilson Ndregjoni: ‘to be the best, you have to beat the best’

Weeks after claiming his first MMA title, Noufel El Kasri called out Triton Fights’ featherweight champion, Ndregjoni, on Instagram for a championship matchup.

“I heard Vilson Ndregjoni claiming he is the best featherweight in the east coast,” writes the Moroccan fighter. “Let’s make this fight happen.”

Ndregjoni is coming off a dominate performance against Kelvin Sterling, brother of UFC bantamweight, Aljamain Sterling. The Albanian fighter has a 3-1 amateur record, holding wins over Mike Fitzroy and Toheed Ashorobi.

Although the Triton champion recently revealed he is booked for a scrap in April, El Kasri wants a classic striker vs grappler matchup to happen with each men representing their countries inside the cage.  El Kasri currently holds wins over Devon Butler, Justin Sanders, and Nick Choiniere.

The Sparta Combat League featherweight champion and Elevation Fight Team prospect is currently undefeated with a 3-0 record, and hopes to book another amateur fight before turning professional at the end of 2019.
