Your guide to TUW 26: Els vs. Presnell
The fourth round of The Ultimate Writer Season 5 is officially here… After TUW 26 concludes, it will gives us our first two finalist, and a list of content creators still vying for that final spot. We will also see our next batch of eliminated competitors.
If you don’t already know, The Ultimate Writer is a competition that features 12 of the best combat sports content creators around the world in a competition where views matter. Winners this season are determined weekly and for this fourth round, each contestant’s highest viewed piece of content will to go head-to-head to determine the week’s winner.
The Scrap staff participating in TUW Season 5 will be competing for the grand prize of $150 and their choice of a WWE or UFC NFT (Non-Fungible Token).
Creators to Watch
At this point, the top two creators are Joey Els and Austin Luff. Both men have the opportunity to cement their places in the finale with a win this round… But they have two get through a pair of hungry newbies in order to get the job done.
On the loser’s bracket, the ones to watch closely are Katie Vega, Shawn Bitter, and Juan Reneo. The three of them are fighting to stay in the competition every round from here on out. So it’s going to be very exciting to see who steps up to the plate.
Matchups to Watch
There are a couple of fun matchups to watch this time out. Joey Els vs. Chris Presnell will headline this week, and it should be a fun one. It’s time for Chris to really pull out everything he has, because this will undoubtedly be his toughest matchup. Dre Parsons vs. Juan Reneo is also quite intriguing as they are both pro wrestling content creators doing great things for The Scrap.
Last but not least, we have a rematch between Sergio Vicente & Shawn Bitter that should be a fun one to keep a close eye one. Especially knowing that Sergio was starting to close the view-gap last time they went head-to-head.
Below are the updated winner and loser brackets:
As you can see above, the loser’s from last week have joined the loser bracket. We’ll be seeing another three eliminations and get one step closer to our finale. On the winner side of things, Andonis Steffanou makes his TUW debut in hopes of taking out the most-viewed content creator of the season.
Joey, Chris, Austin, and Andonis have the chance to win a bye-week to prepare for the finale with a win. Can the new addition get the job done? Will Austin & Joey remain on top? Or will Chris surprise everyone and get into the finale in his debut TUW season? Make sure you stay tuned to see how it all plays out…
