WWE Legends Who Should Coach on LFG

Read Time:2 Minute, 50 Second

With Michelle McCool set to replace Mickie James as a coach next season, we thought it’d be fun to explore some names we’d love to see join WWE LFG in the future. The show is off to a hot start, drawing fans in each week as Future Greats develop under WWE Legends.

Read about five potential coaches who should eventually take their place on WWE LFG:

CM Punk

CM Punk’s passion for mentoring the next generation is well known. He has made it clear that he wants to run WWE NXT once his in-ring career wraps up. Since returning, he’s consistently volunteered his time, making him a perfect fit for WWE LFG as a future coach. Not only would his presence be invaluable for the Future Greats, but it would also be a major ratings boost given his star power. Punk made an appearance in Episode 5—so let’s hope it won’t be the last time we see him on the show.

Trish Stratus

Who wouldn’t want to see Trish Stratus as a coach? She’s done it all in her career. While she’s still competing, having her on WWE LFG would be a game-changer. Many Future Greats lack the charisma needed to reach the top, and Trish could help bridge that gap. Beyond that, her unique perspective and journey in the business would offer invaluable insight to the next generation.

Sean Waltman (X-Pac)

Sean Waltman is already mentoring WWE I.D. talent over Zoom, analyzing matches with them and offering advice on how to improve. He also appeared on Episode 4 of WWE LFG as a guest coach, helping students build their factions. Eventually, those who have contributed to the show should get their shot at becoming full-time coaches and competing to win. Rotating coaches will keep the show fresh and competitive—so why not bring in a WWE Hall of Famer from one of the most legendary factions of all time?

Nikki Bella

Nikki Bella seems eager to step back into the WWE spotlight. Following her appearance in the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble, speculation has grown that she’s training for an in-ring return. Beyond bringing in a wave of viewers from her reality TV fanbase, Nikki is at a point where she can give back to the next generation—just as others did for her. Her presence on Traitors led to a ratings boost, and the same could happen with WWE LFG. She’d draw massive attention, and showcase the importance of character work, branding, and becoming a star beyond WWE.

Natalya

This one’s a no-brainer. Natalya and Tyson Kidd have trained countless wrestlers across the industry, and with their training facility in Florida—home to many WWE stars—their influence continues to grow. Natalya, in particular, has been instrumental in elevating the women’s division. She always steps up when needed, consistently making others look good in the ring. She’s selfless, a future Hall of Famer, and one of WWE’s most valuable assets. Given her ability to adapt across multiple eras, she’d be the perfect addition to WWE LFG, providing unmatched guidance to the next generation. It feels like she’s ready for more—so why not?
