Wonderboy: Luque matchup similar in excitement to Masvidal (VIDEO)

Stephen Thompson will look to get back to his winning ways when he takes on surging contender Vicente Luque next month.

The welterweight matchup will take place at UFC 244 at Madison Square Garden in New York. Headlining the organization’s return to MSG will be the battle for the factitious “BMF” title between Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz.

“Wonderboy” checked in with The Scrap to discuss the matchup, comparing it to his previous MSG bout with Jorge Masvidal, how he continues to evolve despite his long career in combat sports, training with UFC Boston headliner and brother-in-law Chris Weidman — who joins the interview for a few minutes — the battle between he and Max Holloway for the “Nicest MF’er” title, and much more.
