Who is likely to win the Women’s Money in the Bank match?
Money in the Bank is right around the corner and WWE is finally bringing a pay-per-view to England for the first time since 2003. One of the more important WWE PPVs, Money in the Bank sets up storylines that could shake up the title picture and create iconic moments.
With new faces this year and some participants in active storylines with each other, predicting the winner can seem a bit unpredictable. So let’s take a look at the most likely choices to win the Women’s Money in the Bank match this weekend..
Becky Lynch
Will a third time be the charm? Signs seem to be pointing towards Becky Lynch finally getting the briefcase on Saturday. WWE has been teasing a matchup between her and Rhea Ripley coming at some point. Rhea is at a point in her WWE career where someone bigger than her will need to take the belt off of her. Whether the cash-in is successful for not, the match and potential feud to come from it would be killer. The women’s division desperately needs it.
Iyo Sky
With the way the Puerto Rico crowd reacted to Iyo Sky vs. Bianca Belair at Backlash, one has to think that a Sky title run is nearing closer. Damage Ctrl has been teasing a break up for quite some time now, and there is no better way than to have it come to a climax at Money in the Bank. Not only does Iyo deserve it at this point in her career, WWE needs to start introducing new faces in the title picture.
Though Trish Stratus holding a MITB briefcase in 2023 would be a fun and interesting decision, there’s no better choices than Lynch and Sky as WWE starts to work towards SummerSlam.
