Which wrestling promotions could benefit from signing Sasha Banks?
The ongoing saga of Sasha Banks is a big mystery in the wrestling world. She was a part of the first Women’s Tag Team Champions in WWE and she is one of the best female wrestlers in all of professional wrestling.
After losing the tag team belts at WrestleMania, Sasha it has been known to the wrestling community that she is unhappy with the company and is currently taking some time away.
With major rumors swirling about her future, let’s take a look at the best suitable promotions for Sasha Banks.
WWE
Let’s put some scenarios out there. Sasha gets everything straightened out with WWE. She gets booked better than she has been recently, has a long title reign for any brand, and gets promoted as one of the best female wrestlers in the company. Sasha has been really under used for the most part in her main roster career. No matter what happens with her, she’s always in the shadows of Charlotte Flair. In NXT, she was arguably the best female wrestler on the brand ever. She put on five-star matches with all of her opponents and was destined for success. She started off high on the main roster and had numerous title runs, but was always winning and losing the belt quickly. Ever since, she’s been underutilized.
If Sasha and WWE can work together again, I hope to see her in the main event picture.
AEW
With AEW debuting in the very near future, Sasha Banks to the new company would be a really big grab. She not only brings her talent with her, but her name alone will draw viewers to the new product. She can easily be the top female of that brand and put the AEW women’s division right on the map, maybe even better than WWE’s. Hikaru Shida, Britt Baker and many more can take Sasha’s abilities to the limit and put on a really good matches.
With a name like Banks on their roster, AEW can easily gain more fans to their show and make competition between all promotions.
IMPACT
With the recent success of the pay-per-view, Rebellion, IMPACT Wrestling has been coming back up from the dead. With major names such as Tessa Blanchard, Taya Valkyrie, Rosemary, and Madison Rayne, a major name such as Banks, can easily bring many fans back to the IMPACT brand. Just imagine the matchups between all the women on that brand with her? We could see many more five star classics being put on. IMPACT can really benefit from Sasha’s name on the roster and can make their women’s division even better.
These three scenarios would be the best options for Sasha at this point. Let’s hope we get to see see “The Boss” back in WWE again. However, she has options. Stay tuned for more on Sasha Banks and WWE.
