Read Time:1 Minute, 19 Second

It’s been a little over a year since we have seen Will Morris compete in the sport of mixed martial arts, and even longer as a 155-pounder. This Friday, “The Blue Chip” has a lot of evolution he plans to show at Fury FC 40.

Morris will face Le’Ville Simpson in the co-main event for the FFC lightweight title. The event takes place at the Humble Civic Center in Humble, Texas and will be headlined by UFC veteran Rashad Coulter taking on Ike Villanueva.

In a conversation with The Scrap, Morris talks his weight cut — or lack there of — his last fight with Joe Schilling at 185 pounds and why he’ll never regret taking it, having a year off from competition and how it has changed his approach to his career, changing teams and working with Kru Bob Perez in Houston, what he hopes to accomplish in the fight, goals for 2020, and much more.

Check out the full interview with Will Morris before he takes on Le’Ville Simpson this Saturday at FFC 40 in the video below.
