VIDEO: Outside of fighting, Jamahal Hill is passionate about cooking

The Scrap recently chatted with UFC light heavyweight Jamahal โ€œSweet Dreamsโ€ Hill (7-0) who is busy preparing for his fight against Klidson โ€œThe Russian Terrorโ€ Abreu (15-4). The bout will take place on May 30 at UFC Fight Night Apex.

Hill competed on the 2019 Contender Series and won by TKO against Alexander Poppeck in the second round. The 29-year-old made his UFC debut in January on UFC on ESPN+ 24 where he won by unanimous decision against Darko Stoลกiฤ‡. Abreu is coming off a split decision loss against Shamil Gamzatov back in November.

Speaking about his road to the UFC, Hill stated, โ€œI work hard for everything thatโ€™s happened to me especially recently. Iโ€™ve expected this my whole life. It is more just surreal itโ€™s actually here; itโ€™s happeningโ€.ย When the topic of cooking came up, Hill spoke about his love of food and cooking. During his weight cut for his upcoming fight, the Michigan resident admitted that heโ€™s been craving grilled cheese sandwiches with pickles. Heโ€™s certainly not one to put ketchup on his sandwich or burger though.
