VIDEO: Miles Johns explains chip on his shoulder ahead of UFC 247
Miles Johns has a different kind of look in his eye ahead of his second UFC fight.
“Chapo” will face Mario Bautista at UFC 247 next Saturday night. The event takes place at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas and will feature two world title fights, including the light heavyweight championship main event as Jon Jones defends against Dominick Reyes.
Johns checked in with The Scrap to discuss wanting this fight with Bautista coming off of the Contender Series, getting back-to-back fights he asked for to start his UFC career, his opponent’s comments that his cardio will be there over Miles’, thoughts on Mario’s comments that he believed Cole Smith beat him, having more focus and fire in his belly, wanting to steal the shine from the other 135ers in the card, Fortis MMA, and more.
