LFA 204 Main Card

Hugo Cunha vs. Denzel Freeman (LFA Heavyweight Championship Main Event)

The main event of LFA 204 features an explosive heavyweight showdown. Brazil’s Hugo Cunha (8-2), a former LFA heavyweight champion, looks to reclaim the vacant title against hard-hitting American Denzel Freeman (5-1). With 12 finishes between their 13 combined wins, fans can expect a fast-paced battle.

Cunha, 32, is coming off a loss on Dana White’s Contender Series in August. Before that setback, he had been on a tear. A versatile fighter, Cunha went 2-0 in LFA, securing both victories via stoppage. His second LFA win came in November 2023 against Brazilian knockout artist and then-champion Eduardo Neves. In that fight, Cunha displayed poise under pressure, weathering Neves’ early offense before locking in a second-round arm-triangle choke to capture the belt.

Freeman, 33, looks to extend his one-fight LFA win streak. He last fought in September 2020, taking on then-undefeated Steven Asplund. Freeman faced adversity early, getting picked apart on the feet before securing a double-leg takedown. Once on top, he unleashed brutal ground-and-pound to close the first round. In the second, Freeman wasted no time dragging the fight back to the mat, using relentless pressure before sinking in a tight rear-naked choke for the finish.

Prediction: Denzel Freeman via KO/TKO

Lightweight Co-Main Event Bout

Ednilson Santos vs. Dylan Mantello

The co-main event of LFA 204 presents an intriguing stylistic clash as Ednilson Santos (13-6-1) takes on Dylan Mantello (8-4).

Santos makes his second LFA appearance in this bout. The Brazilian’s pro career began in 2014, starting with a 1-2 record. However, he quickly proved his resilience, rattling off six consecutive wins after his second professional loss. From 2018 to 2021, Santos struggled with consistency, going 3-3-1 while bouncing between promotions. Since 2022, he has regained his footing, posting a 3-1 record. His most recent fight was his LFA debut in November, where he secured a unanimous decision win over Kamuela Kirk.

Mantello, 32, looks to rebound from a third-round submission loss on Dana White’s Contender Series in September. The New Yorker has appeared on the show twice, with both outings ending in submission defeats. Mantello turned pro in 2019 and remained unbeaten at 4-0 by 2021 before suffering back-to-back losses. Since then, he has gone 4-2, with his only defeats coming on DWCS. Now making his LFA debut, Mantello was originally scheduled to compete for CFFC in December, but was forced to withdraw.

Prediction: Dylan Mantello via Decision

Fury FC 103 Main Card

Kolton Englund vs. Carlton Minus (Lightweight Main Event)

UFC Fight Pass viewers are in for a treat with Fury FC 103’s main event. The lightweight showdown between Fury FC veteran Kolton Englund (14-4) and former UFC fighter Carlton Minus (14-5) should be a fun one.

Englund, 31, enters this bout riding an impressive five-fight win streak. However, he has yet to face top-tier competition during this run. In October 2021, he appeared on DWCS, where he was stopped in the first round by knockout artist Manuel Torres. This will mark Englund’s 10th appearance in the Fury FC cage, a promotion he first competed in back in 2014. While the early years of his career were plagued by bout cancellations, he has since found his rhythm.

Minus, also 31, had a stellar start to his professional career. After making his pro debut in 2014, he remained unbeaten at 9-0 with one no-contest, which earned him a spot on the PFL 2018 roster. There, he suffered his first loss against battle-tested veteran Rick Story. In August 2020, Minus received a UFC call-up but went 0-2 inside the octagon against Matthew Semelsberger and Christos Giagos. Since his UFC stint, he has gone 4-2 on the regional scene. Now 1-1 in Fury FC, he looks to make a statement in his third promotional appearance.

Prediction: Kolton Englund via KO/TKO

Weltwerweight Co-Main Event

Bruce Whitehead vs. Kenan Jackson

Welterweights Bruce Whitehead (5-1) and Kenan Jackson (5-3) are set to collide in a three-round matchup at Fury FC 103.

Whitehead, 28, returns to the Fury FC cage after a string of fight cancellations late last year. He made his professional debut with the promotion in January 2023 and has quickly become a familiar face, racking up seven fights in just two years. Throughout his run, he has faced comparable competition and delivered promising results. His most recent bout was a statement win, securing a first-round finish over Rusty Turley at Fury FC 92 in June 2024.

Jackson, 32, has had a more up-and-down tenure in Fury FC, holding a respectable 3-3 record within the promotion. He turned pro in 2019 and built early momentum with a 3-0 start, with his third victory coming under the Fury FC banner. However, his undefeated run ended in February 2022 with a loss to Morgan Oriahi. Since then, he has alternated between wins and losses. Jackson now returns after nearly two years away, with his last fight taking place in August 2023 against Shimon Smotritsky.

Prediction: Bruce Whitehead via KO/TKO
