Two-time Contender Series vet Jordan Williams eyes move to welterweight
Following his second appearance on Dana White’s Contender Series last summer, there are many who believe that Jordan Williams should’ve earned a UFC contract, even though he lost the fight.
Williams was able to leave Las Vegas with his head held high and with some new lifestyle changes in tact, the 29-year-old may be moving down to 170 pounds.
The Scrap caught up with Williams last week as he was scheduled to face UFC vet Kyle Stewart in the main event of LFA 84 scheduled for this Friday. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the event has been postponed, along with LFA 85 and 86.
Williams discusses what he took away from his Contender Series war last summer, becoming an almost full vegan and dropping a lot of weight, a potential move to welterweight, not knowing — or being all that impressed with — Kyle Stewart, how he sees a fight between the two playing out, and more.
Check out the full interview with Jordan Williams (prior to LFA 84 getting postponed) in the video below.
