TUW 22 Results: The Season 4 Finale

The sixth, and final round of The Ultimate Writer Season 4 has officially ended! It featured our final and most competitive matchup too… We were finally able to crown the winner of the season and were able to find out who will be the FIRST-EVER Tag Team TUW Champions.
If you didn’t already know, The Ultimate Writer is a competition that features 16 of the best combat sports content creators around the world in a competition where article views matter. Winners this season were determined weekly, but for this round specifically, we had a different set of rules. This next round will be two weeks long, and each team member’s highest viewed article (each week) was added together for their total score.
This sixth card helped us determine The ULTIMATE Writer and the winners of our grand prize of $200. The winners will also get the chance to design a shirt catalog that will be published with Made Dangerous.

Katie Vega & Joey Els (236,761 Views) vs. Shawn Bitter & Austin Luff (7,369 Views) vs. Juan Reneo & Lewis Simpson (518 Views)
What a f*cking main event! What these numbers throughout the season have proved is The Scrap is further inching towards mainstream status. We also have the best content creators we’ve ever had as part of the team. Though Katie Vega & Joey Els were a new tag team towards the end of the competition, them joining forces was absolutely going to be an issue for the rest of the competitors.
But let’s make sure we give it up to Shawn Bitter & Austin Luff who broke some records putting forth a record-breaking view count with articles alone. Shawn Bitter was finally able to use his advantage he won during Week 2, which allowed him to use his overall view count, rather than just his highest-viewed article.

For the first time ever, YouTube content was actually used to win The Ultimate Writer. Though we opened that up last season, we didn’t have many people up for the challenge. Joey Els came in and took the competition by storm, and he got to do it with a former TUW champion.
Joey Els joins Katie Vega as a newbie to win it all in his first TUW season. As for Katie, she becomes the first-ever 2x The Ultimate Writer Champion!
