Tobias Baker to face John Simon in main event at Battle For The Brave

Read Time:1 Minute, 11 Second

PureCombat: Battle For The Brave is set to take place in Salem, Oregon on Saturday, November 16th.

The Salem Armory will host the event, featuring a welterweight main event of Tobias “The Heathen” Baker taking on John Simon, the younger brother of UFC’s Ricky Simon.

Simon comes into the fight with a 2-1 professional record, both wins coming from finishes. His only professional loss came in a split decision, and his only losses as an amateur are from decisions as well. Simon has shown that he can take fighters into deep water and get the finish late in the fight.

Baker has done nothing but finish fights, and finish fights fast. He is off to a fast start with a 2-0 record as a pro, 5-0 overall. This will be Barker’s fourth fight in 2019 and fifth in the last 12 months. Baker has not allowed a fight to go into round 2, which has allowed him to stay active.

This main event will be between two of the best in the northwest.

Who will come out on top?
