On Saturday, July 20th, the UFC is making its way to San Antonio, Texas for UFC on ESPN 4: dos Anjos vs Edwards.

Here are the underrated fights to watch on Saturday’s fight card:

Ray Borg vs Gabriel Silva:

Ray ‘The Tazmexican Devil’ Borg will be taking on UFC debut Gabriel Silva in this bantamweight bout.

Borg holds a professional record of 11-4, including 6 submissions and 4 decisions. He is 0-2 in his last two fights, having lost to UFC newcomer, Casey Kenney and former flyweight champion, Demetrious Johnson. Borg has never been one to shy away from fights with top competition and his resume proves that.

His opponent, Gabriel Silva, Team Nogueira and LFA standout, holds a professional record of 8-0. His record includes 3 knockouts, 4 decisions and 1 submission. In his last fight, he defeated Jake Heffernan by first-round knockout. This fight will be his UFC debut and his chance to make a big statement within the bantamweight division.

Domingo Pilarte vs Felipe Colares:

Domingo ‘Son of Fire’ Pilarte will be taking on Felipe Dias ‘Cabocao’ Colares in this bantamweight bout.

Pilarte holds a professional record of 8-1, including 2 knockouts, 4 submissions, and 2 decisions. The first loss of his career came when he fought Caio Machado at LFC 27. Pilarte lost the fight by unanimous decision. He has remained undefeated since this fight, which took place in January of 2014. Pilarte has yet to officially fight inside the UFC Octagon but he did secure a win on DWTNCS back in July of 2018. He defeated Vince Morales by second-round submission. I’m sure he will be looking to make some noise within the UFC when he enters the Octagon against Felipe Colares on Saturday night.

His opponent, Felipe Dias ‘Cabocao’ Colares, also holds a professional record of 8-1. His record includes 2 knockouts, 5 submissions, and 1 decision. He is 0-1 in the UFC so far. When he debuted in the UFC, he suffered the first loss of his career via unanimous decision. He had fought Geraldo de Freitas Jr. on the Assuncao vs Moraes 2 undercard. That was in February of 2019 and this will be his first fight back inside the Octagon.

Mario Bautista vs Jin Soo Son:

Mario Bautista will be taking on Jin Soo Son in this bantamweight clash.

Bautista holds a professional record of 6-1, including 2 knockouts, 3 submissions, and 1 decision. He built up a perfect 6-0 record leading up to his UFC debut, where he suffered his first defeat, losing to Cory Sandhagen by first-round submission. That was in January of 2019 and this fight with Jin Soo Son will be his first fight back inside the Octagon.

His opponent, Jin Soo Son, holds a professional record of 9-3, including 4 knockouts, 2 submissions, and 3 decisions. He has lost 3 times in his career and all three were by way of decision. However, he has never been finished in a fight. He trains with Korean Zombie MMA, more popularly known as The Korean Zombie’s fight team. Jin Soo Son is a rising prospect on the team. He is currently 0-1 in the UFC, with his one loss having came to current bantamweight contender, Petr Yan.

Let’s see what happens when these two square off, you don’t want to miss it!
