The Scrap’s 2019 TUW Most Valuable Player: Katie Vega

Read Time:1 Minute, 15 Second

The Ultimate Writer had some amazing writers, some that fell flat and many that truly delivered. But none come close to Puerto Rico’s Katie Vega, a true gem found.

Vega is a new MMA & Pro Wrestling writer who entered the competition as one of two MMA trolls. She was getting views and winning, however when it came time to face tougher competition like Jordan Ellis, she was easily eliminated.

Let me tell you, she pulled a Dakota Kai and came out of no where. She ended up rebranding herself from The MMA Bitch to her actual government name, Katie Vega. Then, she started writing actual content that her followers truly appreciated.

She ended up getting voted back in the competition by her peers as the Wildcard of the semi-finals. It paid off being the nice one as she was able to come back and have one of the most impressive returns of 2019, beating the man that eliminated her, Jordan Ellis.

Katie Vega will now enter Season 2’s Finale against the first man to have back-to-back championship matchups, Connor Rogowsky. She has a good chance of winning it all, having a true Cinderella story.

Regardless of her next matchup, she is undoubtedly The Ultimate Writer MVP and we’re excited to announce that Katie will be joining our team following her TUW run.

Help us officially welcome Katie Vega to The Scrap! She becomes the second writer hired after TUW, joining Evan Mowery.
