The Scrap announces Season 6 of The Ultimate Writer
TUW (The Ultimate Writer) is a competition for The Scrap’s Content Creators and will feature a total of 12 writers and video content producers from around the world in a competition of views. This season, we will host a rapid fire season, an elimination bracket, and a season full of TUW newbies.
The winners will be determined weekly or bi-weekly when highest overall views go head-to-head to determine The Ultimate Writer of Season 6. The first round will begin September 18th, and the content producers will be competing for a $50 grand prize.
Season 1 we had Team Joel vs. Team Rags: A Battle of Co-Owners.
Season 2 we had Team Mahoney vs. Team Brown: A Battle of Co-hosts (Lee N Keys Real Talk Podcast).
Season 3 we had Scrap Newbies vs. Vets.
Season 4 we had our first Tag Team season.
Season 5 we actually eliminated people from The Scrap.
Season 6 will be the fastest season of TUW ever.
Some of The Scrap’s veteran writers will return, joining a cohort of newbies vying for a spot on our staff. Though The Ultimate Writer is usually full of twists and turns, Season 5 was our most straight-forward. We’ll be bringing back the surprises, and going back to a single elimination tournament.
The Season 6 contestants and the official bracket will be revealed around the start of the competition. It’s highly unlikely that we add to our team again this year, so now is the time to apply for a spot on our roster.
