Bellator champions Rory MacDonald and Ilima-Lei Macfarlane will defend their titles on April 27 in San Jose, California at the SAP Center.

The 170-pound title fight between MacDonald and Jon Fitch will be the opening round of Bellator’s Welterweight Grand Prix. MacDonald is coming off a failed bid to become a two-division champion in Bellator, while Fitch is riding a five-fight win streak, including a decision against Paul Daley last May.

The women’s flyweight title matchup between Ilima-Lei Macfarlane and Veta Arteaga will mark the third title defense for the Hawaiian native. Macfarlane has won all eight of her appearances under the Bellator banner, six of which she finished via submission. Arteaga, meanwhile, has won four of her six fights under Bellator, including recent wins over Emily Ducote and Denise Kielholtz.

Bellator president, Scott Coker, tweeted the championship doubleheader fight poster during Bellator 214:
