Matt Serra slams Joe Rogan & Dana White for Conor McGregor comments

Read Time:2 Minute, 36 Second

Conor McGregor has been getting in trouble as of late and recently took to ESPN and apologized for his actions. Yet, some, like Joe Rogan and Dana White commented on the situation seemingly backing the Irishman up.

White had this to say:

โ€œWhatโ€™s crazy is Conor McGregor is a smart kid,โ€ White said onย The Jim Rome Show.ย โ€œHeโ€™s a very smart kid. Heโ€™s financially set himself up, heโ€™s made some really good moves business-wise, and heโ€™s made a lot of money. He owns this whiskey company thatโ€™s killing it, and heโ€™s going to continue to make a lot of money. I donโ€™t know. Heโ€™s a father now; heโ€™s got a kid. At some point you have to say, โ€˜I need to stop punching people in the face illegally.โ€™ Just do it for money.โ€

While Rogan said this on his podcast:

โ€œHeโ€™s got like $100 million in the bank and he still wants to fight people. Still smacking people at bars.โ€ Rogan laughed. โ€œWhatโ€™s he doing? Donโ€™t do that. Who knows what the guy said to him.โ€

Now, former UFC welterweight champion, Matt Serra was not a fan of either of their comments and took the time to slam both of them. He doesn’t care what he has done in his career, all he cares about is that Conor McGregor needs to be a better human being.

โ€œI mean, Joe Rogan was talking about, โ€˜heโ€™s got $100 million in the bank,โ€™ and Danaโ€™s talking about how smart he is,โ€ Serra said onย โ€˜UFC Unfilteredโ€™ podcast of Rogan and Whiteโ€™s comments. โ€œYou know, I donโ€™t give a f**k about that if heโ€™s not a good person. Who gives a f**k? I donโ€™t know. Like dude, Iโ€™ll tell you right now, man, I had a $100 million in the bank, Iโ€™m pretty much-doing everything Iโ€™m doing right now. Like, is that what itโ€™s really about?โ€

โ€œI donโ€™t give a f**k if heโ€™s brilliant, what the f**k does that mean?โ€ Serra added. โ€œFor people to say heโ€™s brilliant, so everybody should be doing this s***? Yeah, heโ€™s made all that, thatโ€™s awesome that heโ€™s done that, but it doesnโ€™t give you a certain right to disrespect guys. What the f*** does everything have to do with materialistic bulls***? Youโ€™re not taking all this s*** with you. I got people dying left and right, youโ€™re not taking any of this s*** with you. How about you be a better human being? Youโ€™ll feel better about yourself.โ€

Matt Serra is not the first person to comment on White and Rogan’s comments. Nor, is he the first to slam McGregor as MMA coach, Firas Zahabi did the same.
