Imagining a Total Divas Reboot in 2025

Read Time:7 Minute, 4 Second

We all have our guilty pleasures, right? For some reason, my YouTube algorithm recently started recommending Total Divas compilation videos. That led me to revisit the series on Peacock—since I never watched it religiously or in order.

It got me thinking: What would a Total Divas reboot look like in 2025? While WWE no longer refers to its women’s division as “Divas,” many of today’s stars were inspired by the women from that era. Looking back, the show played a huge role in elevating WWE’s female talent beyond the wrestling sphere. It helped catapult several women into the mainstream, tied directly into WWE storylines, and even led to championship reigns and historic moments. For some, Total Divas was the reason they had a successful WWE career at all.

With WWE making headlines more than ever, a reboot could give today’s women’s division an even bigger platform. So, who would be the perfect fit? Read about the eight women who would thrive if Total Divas made a comeback:

Chelsea Green

It’s no surprise that Chelsea Green loves the Divas era—so much so that she’s even been pushing for a Divas Open Challenge for her United States Championship. Aspiring to be the female Miz, reality TV feels like the natural next step for her. And what better way than a Total Divas reboot?

Chelsea would be a perfect fit for the show, and let’s not forget—her husband, Matt Cardona, is hilarious too. They’re made for TV. If she weren’t part of a reboot, it would be a crime. Beyond her larger-than-life personality, Chelsea also has experience acting and working as a stunt double. After all, she is the longest, shortest, biggest, tallest, shortest United States Champion of all time.

Maxxine Dupri

Maxxine Dupri feels like she was made for the Divas era. Her presence on a Total Divas reboot would be reminiscent of Eva Marie—a star learning the ropes as she goes. She’s one of the few talents fast-tracked to the main roster, forced to sink or swim. But thanks to her character work, she’s been able to stay afloat while developing her in-ring skills.

Dupri is hardworking, humble, kind, and fully committed to putting in the work at the WWE Performance Center. Plus, her fiancé, Anthony Luke, has been a standout on WWE LFG. They were both recently featured on the show, so why not carry that momentum onto a new show? It seems the newly engaged couple would be a perfect fit for Total Divas.

Naomi

A reboot always needs some familiar faces. Bringing Naomi back to Total Divas would be a full-circle moment—especially given where she is in her career today. She’s one of the best in the business, always entertaining, and a true veteran in the ring. Let’s bring her and Jimmy Uso back into the mix. Naomi was one of the most level-headed cast members and an OG, appearing in every season of the original series.

Today, she’s starring in movies, walking runways, and winning championships. Total Divas opened so many doors for her before—imagine what more it could do now. We saw her get married on the show, land her first movie role in Marine 5, navigate the struggle of turning heel, and transition from a tag team partner to a singles star. A reboot would be the perfect way to showcase the next chapter of her journey.

Tiffany Stratton

It’s Tiffy Time? Tiffany Stratton also looks like she was made for the Divas era—and the fact that she resembles Sabrina Carpenter would only add to her star power. As one of WWE’s fastest-rising stars and the current Women’s Champion, a Total Divas reboot could elevate her to an entirely new level.

Her relationship with Ludwig Kaiser would also be a major draw, especially since fans love their social media content together. If the reboot aired on E!, putting Tiffany front and center would be a no-brainer—it has money written all over it.

Roxanne Perez

Roxanne Perez might not seem like the typical Total Divas star. But, she has a unique connection to the show—she once appeared in a scene as a child. That alone would make for a perfect introduction video in the first episode of a reboot.

Recently, she appeared on WWE LFG to support her boyfriend, Drake Morreaux. Since Total Divas was known for showcasing the real-life relationships of WWE’s women, why not feature them on the show? With Roxanne seemingly on the verge of a main roster call-up, this could be the perfect way to introduce her to a wider audience. Total Divas often included brand-new talent, and adding Roxanne would be a fun nod to that tradition because she can actually wrestle.

Bianca Belair

Bianca Belair is one of WWE’s biggest stars. But, her mainstream crossover appeal hasn’t quite taken off the way the company may have hoped. Her reality show with Montez Ford, Love & WWE, didn’t seem to move the needle—Bianca was already a massive star before it aired, and something about the show just didn’t click.

Maybe it was a sign that WWE has outgrown its reality TV era, or maybe it was just bad timing. Either way, bringing Bianca and Montez into the Total Divas world could be the perfect move—both for the show and for the next phase of Bianca’s career. She also has close relationships with Naomi and Jade Cargill, which always helps when filming.

Jade Cargill

Jade Cargill’s physique is unmatched, and her confident, no-nonsense attitude would make her a perfect fit for Total Divas. She’s always been a superstar capable of breaking into the mainstream—gracing magazine covers, feuding with rappers, and achieving success outside of wrestling even before joining WWE.

Now under the brightest lights possible, Jade would seamlessly fit into the cast. She’s a mother, a wife, and a businesswoman who co-owns a professional softball team with her husband, who is also an athlete. She carries an undeniable aura, and she deserves to be front and center. Watching her navigate the transition to WWE while balancing her personal and professional life would be must-see TV. Plus, her real-life friendships with Bianca Belair and Naomi would only add to the show’s dynamic.

Nikki Bella

Rumors have been swirling about Nikki Bella’s potential in-ring return. With a recent clip of her training at Natalya’s Dungeon and speculation that discussions are underway, why not pair her comeback with a Total Divas reboot? The current women’s roster could benefit from the star power of the biggest name to come out of the show.

Nikki recently appeared on Traitors, where her casting gave the show a ratings boost. Even after retiring from WWE, she remained a reality TV star alongside Brie Bella on Total Bellas and even co-hosted the USA Network game show Barmageddon with Blake Shelton and Carson Daly. Now newly single, a mom, and itching to get back in the ring, Nikki would be the perfect returning star to lead a Total Divas revival.

Notable Mentions

Natalya isn’t just one of the most respected women’s wrestlers in the world—she’s an OG of Total Divas, appearing in every season. Her hilarious moments made her a standout on the show, so bringing her back would be a no-brainer. While Nia Jax wasn’t on Total Divas for long, her return would add another familiar face to help kick things off too. Plus, her friendship with Tiffany Stratton is something fans would love to see play out on TV.

For a fresh dynamic, look no further than Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson. The original Total Divas season featured the Funkadactyls, Naomi and Cameron, so including a true tag team that has been together from the start would be a fun callback. Adding NXT stars who fit the bill, look the part, and demand attention when they walk into a room would only elevate the reboot.
