Fury FC 100: Title Fight Previews & Main Card Predictions

Read Time:3 Minute, 28 Second

The opening week of 2025 for MMA kicks off with two blockbuster regional events stacked with rising prospects. One of those standout cards is Fury FC 100, taking place on January 12th at Imagen Venues in Houston, Texas.

Fury Fighting Championship starts the new year in style, celebrating its milestone 100th event with a stacked lineup. The main card features three title fights, showcasing elite talents like Paris Moran, Justice Torres, and Shimon Smotritsky. Catch all the action live on UFC Fight Pass starting at 2:30pm ET. Read our staff predictions for the main card below:

Shimon Smotritsky vs. Sam Kilmer (Welterweight Championship)

Fury FC 100’s main event has a welterweight championship bout. The fight is between two young and talented fighters: Shimon Smotritsky (11-2) and Sam Kilmer (8-4).

Smotritsky, 24, will make his third appearance under the Fury FC banner. He is now riding a three-fight win streak after his last TKO victory performance against Aaron Philips. Kilmer, 23, comes into this championship main event slot with an impressive two-fight submission streak. He defeated former UFC fighter Josh Quinlan and an undefeated Shane Keefe. Smotritsky went 0-2 on Dana White’s Contender Series. However, I expect him to dominate on the regional scene. He will work his way back to another shot. I see Smotritsky using good takedown defense against Kilmer and keeping the fight where he prefers, which is striking. From there, expect Smotritsky to work nasty body kicks and deliver sharp strikes. He will outwork Kilmer until he finds a finishing sequence.

Prediction: Shimon Smotritsky via 2nd-Round KO/TKO

Justice Torres vs. Cameron Graves (Featherweight Championship)

Fury FC featherweight champion, Justice Torres (10-2), will make his first title defense. He faces Cameron Graves (13-7) in the co-main event slot. Torres became champion with his unanimous decision victory over Vilson Ndregjoni at Fury FC 97 back on October 26, 2024.

Torres, 27, is riding a three-fight win streak since suffering back-to-back losses in 2023. The challenger Graves, 31, is coming into this title fight off a three-fight win streak. He suffered his last loss at the hands of Michael Aswell back in 2022. Torres is on the fringe of a shot at Dana White’s Contender Series. I see him coming to this co-main event and performing well. He hopes to impress the public. Graves will pose a tricky enough threat to survive a losing-ended decision.

Prediction: Justice Torres via Unanimous Decision

Paris Moran vs. Alden Coria (Flyweight Champion)

Fury FC’s extremely talented flyweight champion, Paris Moran (12-2), returns to the cage. He is set to defend his title against the skilled challenger, Alden Coria (9-3). Moran is arguably the best fighter in the entire promotion. The flyweight champion has dominated since his last defeat to UFC’s rising star Joshua Van in August 2022. He has strung a five-fight win streak, with three wins in title fights.

Moran, 28, last appeared in the cage when he moved up to bantamweight. He faced Peter Caballero back on Fury FC 97 in October 2024. The champion is back defending his title. This time, he faces the 26-year-old Coria. Coria is riding a two-fight win streak coming into the bout. I see the champion taking care of business in this high-level title fight. Watch Moran maintain respect for Coria while standing. He will wait to secure a well-timed grappling entry to take the fight to the canvas. If Moran wins, do not be surprised if he receives a call. He may even get a shot on Dana White’s Contender Series this year too.

Prediction: Paris Moran via Unanimous Decision
