Former UFC champion Miesha Tate wins Celebrity Big Brother 3
You can now add Celebrity Big Brother winner to the legendary resume of Miesha Tate.
The former UFC bantamweight champion outlasted her housemates over the course of 3 weeks, winning the $250,000 grand prize on Wednesday’s finale. After winning the very first Head of Household competition at the start of the season, Tate set up her run of dominance βΒ four HOH and two Veto wins βΒ that culminated with her being named champion of season 3.
By now, we know Tate is used to making history… But the world saw her do so once again on CBS as she defeated her “ride or die” Todrick Hall in a 7-1 vote, becoming the first athlete to win the show.
Tate is still expected to fight Lauren Murphy at UFC Fight Night on May 14. The 19-8 fighter, ended her retirement last summer by beating a fellow veteran in Marion Reneau. She’ll look to take her momentum from the show into another win in her flyweight debut this May.
Congratulations on winning Celebrity Big Brother, Miesha!
