Diamond Mine’s Julius Creed wants match with Luke Rockhold in WWE

Read Time:1 Minute, 20 Second

After Luke Rockhold announced his free agency status on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, WWE NXT’s Julius Creed had a few words for the former UFC middleweight champion.

Prior to his WWE signing, Creed was part of multiple high-level and championship training camps at the prestigious AKA MMA gym. It’s evident that with his decorated wrestling background, the NXT superstar was brought in on multiple occasions for different looks. Though friends with Rockhold in “real life,” Julius made it clear he wanted all the smoke with the new MMA free agent…

On his Instagram Story, the former NXT Tag Team Champion called out Luke, saying he was put on this earth to, “beat his ass.” It may seem like an unlikely avenue for Luke to take; however, with guys like Julius signed to the promotion, never say never. Whether they come now, or later once Diamond Mine gets called up to the main roster, it seems almost inevitable. Julius is a massive star in the making, and there have already been headlines of WWE wanting Daniel Cormier to come in and do something with The Creed Brothers.

Whether Rockhold competes in the ring, or manages a duo like The Creed Brothers, there is money to make. Undoubtedly, the new free agent will have no trouble finding a new home, post UFC. But one thing is for sure, there’s a match with Julius Creed waiting in Florida whenever he is ready.
