Daniel Bryan vs Kofi Kingston will steal the show at WrestleMania 35
WrestleMania is only days away, and I personally can not wait. I think many people are sleeping on this card to be honest and I don’t know why because there are many very, very good matches on this card.
There are a lot of matches on this card, but every year there is one match that steals the show, and sometimes the weekend. I have gone over the card and gone back and forth on this but the WWE Championship match between Kofi Kingston and the new Daniel Bryan will be the match we are talking about on Monday morning.
WWE Championship Match: Daniel Bryan (C) vs Kofi Kingston
The builds for many of the matches on this card have been either lackluster or non-existent, but this one has been perfect. This all started when Ali was injured so Kofi Kingston took his spot in the Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship. The crowd got behind Kofi so much and it is the most over he has ever been, he was almost as over as Bryan before Mania 30. From there, Kofi was screwed and had the opportunity taken away from him several times, but he kept on fighting and Xavier Woods and Big E won him this match a couple of weeks ago.
Crowds play a massive role in matches, whether it’s for better or for worse. I think in this case, the crowd will add so much to this article because make no mistake, that crowd is going to be 100% behind Kofi Kingston. On top of that, Kofi is one of the most underrated wrestlers in modern WWE history. He is an amazing wrestler and I think many people are just realizing this, however, he has been an amazing wrestler for many, many years. I think he really showed what he could do in that Chamber match and his wrestling ability during that match is part of the reason the crowd got so behind him in my opinion.
On the other side of the ring, Daniel Bryan is one of the best wrestlers on the planet. His insane wrestling ability aside his work since he turned heel has been arguably the best work of his heel turn. “The New” Daniel Bryan is very much the opposite of Kofi and the rest of The New Day, the two characters have clashed exceptionally well.
When you combine all of that with the emotion and the excitement that will explode in that arena when Kofi wins that title, this will steal the night and potentially WrestleMania weekend.
