Conor McGregor to present award at 2021 MTV Video Music Awards
It looks like Conor McGregor will be presenting an award at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards.
After last year’s socially distanced show, the VMAs will be back with a full crowd and multiple star-studded performances. PEOPLE exclusively announced the presenters for this year’s awards show, including the former UFC double champ. Joining McGregor will be names like Hailey Baldwin Bieber, Fat Joe, Ashanti, Billie Eilish, Megan Fox, Travis Barker, Simone Biles, and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson.
McGregor makes his first public appearance since his loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 and becomes the first UFC fighter to present an award at the VMAs. Earlier this year, Conor McGregor also lead a group of sports stars unfazed by the pandemic, topping Forbes’s List of The World’s 10 Highest-Paid Athletes.
How to Watch:
The 2021 VMAs airs live on Sunday, Sept. 12, at 8pm ET from the Barclays Center in New York City.
The show will simulcast across various channels including CMT, Comedy Central, Logo, MTV2, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, Pop, TV Land, VH1, and The CW. A pre-show will also air on MTV starting at 6:30pm.
