Conor McGregor once thought Snoop Dogg quit Smoking
Snoop Dogg shocked the world when he announced that he was giving up smoke. Though the Hip-Hop legend and longtime marijuana enthusiast didn’t specify exactly what that might mean, tons of celebrities chimed in after the mega announcement.
“After much consideration and conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke,” Snoop wrote in a message shared on Instagram and X. “Please respect my privacy at this time.”
Conor McGregor, among others, hopped on the bandwagon to announce they too were quitting. But Snoop ended up clarifying days later that he was partnering with a smokeless fire pit brand. Regardless, we captured McGregor’s reaction to the big news. Ironically, it came weeks after the two partied it up in Ireland. Aside from shots of Proper 12, I’m sure the two shared several blunts.
The rapper has long made mentions of marijuana in his music and has several businesses in the cannabis industry. So to many, it seemed like he was trolling the masses because Snoop has a branded line of weed, Leafs by Snoop. He also joined the cannabis investment fund Casa Verde. Under that partnership, he launched a collaboration with TSUMo Snacks in 2022 to create Snazzle Os, cannabis-infused onion ring chips.
