Conor McGregor announces return vs. Michael Chandler on International Fight Week
It looks like the fight we thought would never happen is finally going down during International Fight Week in 2024. Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler will apparently happen middleweight. It is set to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 29th.
Despite coaching against one another on The Ultimate Fighter 31, an official fight day has yet to be announced. McGregor revealed via social media Sunday that the “greatest comeback of all time” is on the horizon. However, the UFC has not publicly commented on that proposal.
Chandler would end up responding to the news on X, writing, “I always said I wantded you at your biggest, you baddest and your best. 185 would look good on me.”
