Andrea Lee vs. Montana De La Rosa targeted for UFC Greenville

According to Nolan King of Flo Combat, a women’s flyweight scrap has been added to UFC Greenville.

Andrea “KGB” Lee (10-2 MMA, 2-0 UFC) is expected to face Montana De La Rosa (10-4 MMA, 3-0 UFC) when the promotion heads to South Carolina this summer.

A former LFA flyweight champion, “KGB” entered the promotion with some considerable hype behind her. Lee made her UFC debut last year where she picked up a unanimous decision over Veronica Macedo. Her last bout saw her outwork Ashlee Evans-Smith over three rounds to pick up the victory in February at UFC on ESPN 1.

Fans first got to know De La Rosa when she appeared on The Ultimate Fighter: A New World Champion in 2017. She went 1-1 on the show, losing to eventual winner and short-lived flyweight titleholder, Nicco Montano. De La Rosa signed with the UFC after the reality series and is undefeated since doing so. She’s earned wins over Christina Marks, Rachel Ostovich and most recently, Nadia Kassem at UFC 234. The three-time All-American wrestler has submitted every woman put in front of her in the Octagon thus far.

UFC Greenville is scheduled to go down at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena on June 22. So far, no main event has been announced for the Fight Night.
