Aaron Jeffery vs. Tim Caron set to fight for Combat Zone middleweight title
Combat Zone 73 will feature a middleweight title bout between Aaron Jeffery and Tim Caron.
The card takes place on January 17th in Manchester, NH. This matchup between 2 DWCS veterans should not disappoint.
Tim Caron is a Manchester native, and will set up shop in his back yard for this fight. Caron has been on DWCS, and has fought for Bellator in his last 2 fights, going 1-1. Caron is 10-2 as a professional and tends to leave the judges out of the conversation, with 9 of his wins coming from finishes.
Caron will look to earn a title, helping him make the leap to the next level. A win could get him another shot on DWCS.
This is the same for Aaron Jeffery. Winning a title could help earn him another shot on Contender Series. The first-ever Canadian on DWCS has his sights set on the UFC in 2020, and a win here would help tremendously towards that goal. Jeffery is 7-2 as a professional, and has a similar finishing prowess. 7 wins, 6 coming from finishes. His only losses have come to fighters who are now in the UFC.
Look for the winner of this fight to end up with an opportunity to join a big promotion in the very near future.
