The Spanish pro wrestling scene in the last couple of years has gained a lot of attention thanks to the amazing work A-Kid has done in the ring for Triple W and various promotions like WxW and PWG.

People from all over the world started to notice the work Triple W and A-Kid have been doing after a match that A-Kid had with current WWE star Riccochet back in 2017. A year later he was awarded a 5-star match rating from Dave Meltzer after an amazing match against NJPW star Zack Sabre Jr and his popularity skyrocketed.

Recently WWE announced that A-Kid would be joining the NXT UK brand. The sky is the limit for the potential of A-Kid and who knows, in a couple of years you could be seeing at the next big star of WWE.

How do you feel about signing with WWE?
A-Kid: “It’s a very nice point in my career. I never have enjoyed so much doing this and I’m very motivated”.

In previous interviews, you’ve mentioned that Kyle O’Reilly is your favorite wrestler. You must be very excited about the opportunity to wrestle him one day?

A-Kid: “There are a lot of people I want to wrestle in WWE and particularly in NXT. But Kyle O’Reilly is at the top of that list”.

Of the current wrestlers of Triple W, who do you think will become the next big star of the promotion?

A-Kid: “Is too hard to know. But to see the future stars, I recommend watching Level 1. In my opinion, every show they demonstrate that they’re (Level 1) the future of Spanish wrestling”.

Now that you signed with WWE, what’s your biggest objective there?

A-Kid: “To keep growing and learning from the best. It is as simple as that”.

Various Spanish wrestlers have told me that you are the reason for the current boom of the Spanish wrestling scene. How do you feel about these comments?

A-Kid: “I’ve never done this only for me. I always had in mind wrestling in Spain as a long-term objective. I want to believe that being with WWE will help more people pay attention to the national product”.

What do you do in your free time?

A-Kid: “I play videogames, I train, draw, Dragon Ball TCG, but over all else, I have the best person in the world next to me”.

Outside of WWE, who would you like to have a match with?

A-Kid: “PAC”.

What do you think of AEW?

A-Kid: “I haven’t seen much for me to talk about it. But like I always say, is a good time to be a wrestling fan, and the offer is wide and better”.

How have you been your interactions with Triple H?

A-Kid: “Nothing really special to stand out, to be honest.
