Cameroon-American prospect Tafon Nchukwi is set to make the jump from regional scene to Dana White’s Contender Series come September. The 3-0 heavyweight is set to take on Al Matavao at light heavyweight.

The drop in weight is one Nchukwi and his team have been talking about for a long time with an eventual plan for middleweight in the works. For now, he has a fight at 205 that will determine whether or not he makes it in the UFC.

In this interview, Nchukwi discusses growing up in America after moving from Cameroon, moving to 205, getting the call for DWCS, and more.
