The Prospect Killer: Daniel Carey is ‘not too worried’ about Aaron Pico’s skill set

Read Time:58 Second

Daniel Carey is scheduled to face Aaron Pico on the stacked Bellator 238 card this weekend. And he’s more than comfortable in the underdog role.

Carey (7-3 MMA) is coming off a first-round finish over Gaston Bolaños at Bellator 226. In 2018, “Scarey” took out Cris Lencioni via unanimous decision. Now filling the role of the underdog, he is ready to add another win over a highly touted prospect to his resume when he takes on Aaron Pico (4-3 MMA).

“Just like you would when you pick Eddie [Gordo] and he starts doing all the spinning crazy sh*t, that’s what imma do. Same buttons, it’s unbeatable.”

A master of button mashing while playing Tekken 5, Carey plans to unleash what he’s learned playing the popular video game during this camp. Bellator 238 takes place on Saturday, January 25 at The Forum in Inglewood, California. The event will be streamed on DAZN starting at 8pm MT.
