Pros and cons of having Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff as WWE Executive Directors

Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff are returning to the WWE in prominent positions. Heyman and Bischoff were announced as Executive Directors for WWE early Thursday morning.
Heyman will lead Raw, while Bischoff will lead SmackDown. But is this a good or bad idea?
Pros of their return.
Both Heyman and Bischoff are known as some of the greatest minds the industry has ever offered. The return of both men may give WWE another perspective in things that need to be changed that they has been oblivious too.
Paul Heyman has been working with WWE for years and in the last couple of months he has been involved in certain storylines, especially those involving Ronda Rousey last year. Heyman knows how WWE works from the inside and he was head of creative in one of the most successful eras for SmackDown in terms of ratings and creative.
Eric Bischoff worked with WWE as a TV character, so for him this will be the first time he holds a important position in WWE. Bischoff has the knowledge of the business and knows how to deal with TV executives, something that WWE will need when SmackDown changes to FOX in October.
Cons of their return.
Heyman has been involved with WWE for quite some time now and during Ronda’s run with WWE, something during the creative process did not work well. Many Rousey promos did not resonate with the fans and storylines she was involved in until her last match were not that interesting, until Becky Lynch was finally involved.
Bischoff’s last run in a prominent position in a wrestling promotion was with TNA (IMPACT). Those 4 years in TNA were not so good for him and the promotion in general, so that’s something to remember.
A few months ago, Bruce Prichard returned to WWE and many people thought he would bring changes to WWE, but as of right now things haven’t changed. This makes me believe there’s a strong chance Heyman and Bischoff won’t be able to change Vince’s mind on certain creative things like scripted promos (being one of the most criticized aspects of WWE by fans and experts).
At the end of the day, this is good news, but only time will tell if WWE will be able to use both men to their full potential and make prominent changes to a current stale product.
