Keith Richardson aims to claim gold in his home state at BKFC 52
At 39 years old, Keith “The Rockstar” Richardson’s time to shine has finally arrived.
Richardson has amassed an MMA record of 22-11 with fights in Bellator and LFA. He also holds victories over UFC fighter Da’Mon Blackshear and The Ultimate Fighter: Season 31 alumni Hunter Azure. Now, the American is on the cusp of his most significant professional achievement yet… Becoming a Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship world champion.
On Friday, October 20th, Richardson will challenge Reggie Barnett Jr. for his bantamweight strap at BKFC 52.
A True Rockstar
Richardson has earned this title opportunity and will aim for his fourth BKFC victory in the last 10 months. Here is another outstanding statistic: This will be his third bare-knuckle fight in his home state of South Carolina. “I always plan on bringing out a good crew whenever I get to fight close to home,” he exclaimed. “I’m tough to beat on my home soil, especially when I’ve got that crowd behind me.”
The Colonial Life Arena fans usually celebrate South Carolina Gamecocks basketball victories, but they could be hosts of a home-grown world champion at the end of the week. Can “The Rockstar” hoist gold and cement himself as the BKFC Fighter of the Year?
