Your guide to TUW 28: The Season 5 Finale

Read Time:2 Minute, 16 Second

The final round of Season 5 is officially here… After a long, successful season ā€” the top three creators will finally battle it out to become The Ultimate Writer.

If you didn’t already know, The Ultimate Writer is a competition that features 12 of the best combat sports content creators around the world in a competition where views matter. Winners this season were determined weekly. But for this last round, it will be a month long and the contestant’s highest viewed piece of content each week will to go head-to-head to determine the winner.

The Scrap staff participating in TUW Season 5 will be competing for the grand prize of $150 and their choice of a WWE or UFC NFT (Non-Fungible Token).

The Hardest Finale in TUW History…

This finale will be four weeks long, but instead of it being a free-for-all, we will have specific categories the contestants must keep in mind when creating content. It will be the longest and hardest finale in history, and here’s why…

Only NEW content will be allowed for this final round. No old work will be counted in the overall totals. See a breakdown of what each week will entail:

Week 1 (Shorts/Reels): We will only count YouTube Shorts or Instagram Reel views during the first week. No other content will count towards the overall total.

Week 2 (Article): We will only count Article views during the second week. No other content will be counted towards the overall total.

Week 3 (Video): Only Video content that is over a minute long will count during this third week. No other content will be counted towards the overall total.

Week 4 (Free For All): The highest piece of content during this final week will count. Any content will be allowed.

Austin Luff vs. Joey Els vs. Katie Vega

Austin Luff has been the front runner this season. Being the only contestant that has been part of every TUW season, he has the experience needed to win for the first time. But on his back the entire time has been Joey Els. Joey has the chance to become a 2x Ultimate Writer, and the second contestant to win the show back-to-back. Last season, Joey dominated alongside a familiar face…

The redemption Queen joins the pack for our finale after losing in first round. One half of last year’s winners, Katie Vega beat every content creator to land herself in her third finale. She has the chance to become the first 3x winner in TUW history, but can she outwork the boys this time around? Only time will tell…

Who will be The Ultimate Writer of Season 5? Tune in to find out!
