The Scrap’s 2020 Pro Wrestling Writer of the Year: Juan Reneo

Read Time:47 Second

The pro wrestling wing of The Scrap is still growing, so when the pandemic hit, it was unsure if content would be able to be produced regularly. However, one writer went above and beyond to ensure there were articles on a consistent basis.

Juan Reneo is The Scrap’s Pro Wrestling Writer of the Year.

Honorable Mentions: Austin Luff, Lee Brown and Rory Robinson.

When there wasn’t anything new on TV, Juan ensured that viewers had 3-parts of his classic matches to watch while stuck at home series. Aside from that, he put forth numerous AEW articles, a co-written column nominated for Most Creative Column called ‘Wednesday Night Wars’, and a few pro wrestling interviews.

Simply put, if it weren’t for Juan, The Scrap wouldn’t have had much pro wrestling content in 2020. For that, and his creative pieces, Juan is without a doubt our Pro Wrestling Writer of the Year.
