The Scrap’s 2020 Interview of the Year: Brandon Sibcy & Brett Martin
In 2020, we had tons of interviews once promotions were able to put on cards. We had a few pro wrestling interviews and boxing interviews, and a ton of MMA ones once The Scrap opened up its YouTube channel. One interview though, garnered the attention of the Michigan regional scene.
Brandon Sibcy’s interview with Brett “Big Dog” Martin is The Scrap’s 2020 Interview of the Year.
Honrable Mentions: Caroline Romero & Shannon Knapp, Katie Vega & Jason Ramos and Drake Riggs & Jessica Aguilar.
Brett Martin is an up and coming prospect who unfortunately hasn’t had the best luck as of late. With both of his matchups withdrawing in 2020, he was unable to stay active and show the world what he’s made of.
I spoke with heavyweight prospect Brett Martin ( @BigDog285 ) about his bizarre run through the LFA tourney, being a commodity in the division and more. @thescrapnewshttps://t.co/SedgfwqjZU

Brandon’s interview with Brett highlighted his frustration with his last two wins, the regional scene and the big leagues. It also was a nice representation of knowing your worth despite the politics of MMA.
For all those reasons and more, Brett Martin and Brandon Sibcy win The Scrap’s Interview of the Year.
