The Scrap’s 2020 Boxing Writer of the Year: Dan Yanofsky
The addition of Boxing to The Scrap is still fairly new and growing. So new, that it was announced on January 1, 2020. Although it has some time to develop, we wanted to acknowledge those that have helped us build last year.
He may be new, but his impact was felt — Dan Yanofsky is The Scrap’s 2020 Boxing Writer of the Year.
Honorable Mentions: Lee Brown, Caroline Romero and Steven Rae.
Not only has Dan brought the most boxing content to The Scrap thus far, he’s brought forth some creative pieces that really caught the attention of new and returning Scrap readers. Some of his awesome pieces highlighted women’s boxing like “Who Run The Ring,” he had an article that gave readers his “2021 Wish List” for boxing matchups, and his most-ready piece on why the boxing world should accept the Paul brothers.

Yanofsky joined The Scrap in October 2020, so to impact the site in such a short amount of time is impressive. We’re extremely excited for what’s to come and have high hopes for Dan in 2021.
