2019 was an incredible year for wrestling, but the protagonist of 2019 in the wrestling business was none other than Will Ospreay.

Will Ospreay in 2019 had one of the best wrestling years of all-time. He wrestled all over the world for promotions like Triple W, NJPW, and many more during 2019.

The ´Aerial Assassin´ during 2019 had some of the best matches of the year like:

  • vs. Shingo Takagi – BOSJ Finals.
  • vs. Okada – G1 Climax.
  • vs. Kota Ibushi – WK 13 and G1 Climax.
  • vs. Dragon Lee – Dominion 2019.
  • vs. A-Kid – Total Rumble 9.

Will Ospreay’s year was not only full with great matches. He also become the first wrestler to compete in the G1 Climax, BOSJ, and New Japan cup in one calendar year.

Championship and The IWGP JR. Heavyweight Championship for the third time in his career. Let’s also not forget that he won the prestigious BOSJ tournament.
